Get fit – Strictly style!

FitSteps® is a new fitness class introduced by Ian Waite, Natalie Lowe and Mark Foster, from one of Britain’s most successful entertainment shows, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. It mixes Ballroom and Latin dances together to create a fun, energetic and effective way to stay fit. Classes cover elements of Jive, Cha Cha, Samba, Tango, Waltz and Quickstep.

The dances are broken down into easily learnable sections and each section is capable of being delivered at varying levels of effort, accommodating varying levels of fitness.

The important point to note is the distinction between the plethora of dance classes that exist and FitSteps®. FitSteps® is a fitness class, delivered through dance. So, our emphasis is on helping people towards fitness; structuring the classes to deliver real, measurable, fitness results.

Wednesday – Wilkes academy
7:00 – 8:00pm – Mixed ability

Friday – Freshbrook Community Centre
10:00 – 11:00am – Mixed ability
